Working through the challenges of Dyslexia has been a big part of my life. I have always been taught that I have strengths that will propel me as an adult, but the road through standardized education has been filled with obstacles at every turn. I am grateful for the Morelli family and this generous scholarship; I will strive to honor Joseph’s memory as I pursue my Physics degree. Joseph’s story is so encouraging and shows that Dyslexics like myself can succeed if we continue to persevere. With this scholarship, I will be able to concentrate more on school and less on how to finance my continued education. Thank you for believing in me.
