It is an honor receiving a scholarship from the Joseph James Morelli Legacy Foundation. Earning this scholarship means the world to me as it allows me to pursue my passion of nursing and helping others. Learning how to live with learning disabilities is very challenging and I am grateful for the recognition. I am also so grateful for those who have contributed to the scholarship fund allowing me and so many others to receive a scholarship to pursue higher education. 

About Our Foundation

The Joseph James Morelli Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and our mission is to honor Joseph’s spirit. Through the awarding of scholarships, peer mentoring, and community outreach, we recognize students, who like Joseph struggle with dyslexia, and empower them to believe in themselves. The Joseph James Morelli Legacy Foundation supports high school and college students with dyslexia, who wish to pursue a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field.
