Becoming a Morelli Scholar is like someone saying, “Hey, I believe in you!” Getting any scholarship is great because it shows your hard work has paid off. But being a Morelli Scholar? That’s next-level gratitude. It’s like a big thumbs-up for not letting dyslexia hold me back, for pushing through and still achieving success. It’s a boost of confidence and a reminder to keep pushing forward. It’s also a reminder to believe in myself and others, even when things get tough. And you know what? It’s not just about me. Being a Morelli Scholar is like being a guiding light for others who struggle with dyslexia or any learning differences. Back in the day, I used to think having dyslexia meant I was doomed to lag behind and never really excel. But being a Morelli Scholar is about showing that dyslexia doesn’t define who you are. Additionally, I believe that being a Morelli Scholar means being a role model for others who also struggle with dyslexia and learning disabilities. It’s like saying to other dyslexic students, “Hey, look at me! I’m doing it, and so can you!”
