It is an honor to receive the Joseph James Morelli Scholarship. Words cannot express my gratitude. I have struggled with dyslexia throughout my life, but I would not be the same person without my journey to overcome the obstacles it presented. This scholarship has allowed me to pursue my academic goals to become an engineer. I will spread Morelli’s message to college and throughout my life. I dream of a world where children are taught to be proud of their differences, not to hide them. I will work to make that a reality in Joseph’s name.
