Becoming a Morelli Scholar is a huge honor that really hits home for me. Like Joseph Morelli, I’ve faced and fought through challenges with dyslexia, often feeling misunderstood by my teachers. This scholarship is more than just financial help; it validates my struggles and triumphs and reminds me of the importance of community support. It also connects me with others who get what it’s like to have dyslexia and who inspire me to keep pushing forward. This sense of belonging is priceless as I chase my dream of becoming an electromechanical engineer. The scholarship strengthens my determination to innovate and push boundaries in my field. Ultimately, being a Morelli Scholar means embracing my dyslexia, celebrating my successes, and committing to a future where I can make a real difference in my community and beyond.
