Receiving this scholarship proves to me that my hard work is paying off.  While I am so genuinely happy for my peers receiving recognition and scholarships for their near perfect grades It it gratifying to know that I worked hard to earn this scholarship.  For some of us who learn different, our good grades don’t come easy and sometimes we have to work harder than some of our classmates to succeed.  This scholarship will be a constant reminder and encouragement to always put in the work because my hard work will be rewarded in the end.
