This award is another opportunity to continue pursuing a college education despite the challenges associated with learning. More importantly though, news of this award came at a time when I was feeling discouraged about my classes; and it was the perfect reminder to press on. There are other people who have walked this road before me, who have overcome greater trials, and I am not alone. Thank you for this scholarship.
