I am very grateful to be a recipient of the Joseph James Morelli Scholarship. I was diagnosed with dyslexia in 3rd grade and have worked very hard throughout school to be an exceptional student. Receiving this scholarship will significantly help me as I pursue my college degree. It has also helped me realize that I can achieve my goals and succeed despite my disability.

About Our Foundation

The Joseph James Morelli Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and our mission is to honor Joseph’s spirit. Through the awarding of scholarships, peer mentoring, and community outreach, we recognize students, who like Joseph struggle with dyslexia, and empower them to believe in themselves. The Joseph James Morelli Legacy Foundation supports high school and college students with dyslexia, who wish to pursue a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field.
