Out of all of the scholarships I applied for, this one was the most special because I felt a personal connection with Joseph and his family as we share similar stories. This scholarship will assist me with my mechanical engineering degree by allowing me to focus directly on my education and not having to have employment while pursuing my degree. With my dyslexia and dysgraphia, it takes me more time to complete my work and not having to rush to a job will allow me to fully commit to my education. I am both humbled and honored to have been chosen for this scholarship!
