This scholarship to me is very meaningful and helpful because it favors those who were not favored at birth. Dysgraphia is a disability that you are born with, not something grown out of, though you can improve your writing skills with hard work and a strong support system. This scholarship allows me to put my focus on my studies and improving my abilities instead of worrying about financial needs.

About Our Foundation

The Joseph James Morelli Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and our mission is to honor Joseph’s spirit. Through the awarding of scholarships, peer mentoring, and community outreach, we recognize students, who like Joseph struggle with dyslexia, and empower them to believe in themselves. The Joseph James Morelli Legacy Foundation supports high school and college students with dyslexia, who wish to pursue a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field.
