This past year, 2021, was probably the most challenging of my life. My struggles with mental illness, eating disorders, and anxiety have dominated my life for almost three years now. I have only recently learned skills and taken medications that have improved my life far more than I thought possible. Having the Morelli Legacy Foundation believe in me when I shared my honest and challenging experiences with school and mental health makes me feel seen and believed in. This support has given me the momentum and excitement to return to school in the fall. I still plan on pursuing my goal of investigating learning disabilities through the combined lens of psychology in neuroscience.
