I’m dyslexic, and school is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. However, I have big goals, and I want to do meaningful work in the world. To do that, I need the education that college will give me. This scholarship is the encouragement I needed to keep going and to keep working toward those goals. I know I can do hard things, but it’s really nice to have people believing in me and supporting me as I do it. Thank you for believing in me!

About Our Foundation

The Joseph James Morelli Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and our mission is to honor Joseph’s spirit. Through the awarding of scholarships, peer mentoring, and community outreach, we recognize students, who like Joseph struggle with dyslexia, and empower them to believe in themselves. The Joseph James Morelli Legacy Foundation supports high school and college students with dyslexia, who wish to pursue a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field.
