Joseph’s inspirational and relatable story reminded me that I am not alone in my own struggles with dyslexia. His story reminds me to press forward with a positive attitude in facing dyslexia when things are hard. It gives me great pride to be able to pursue higher education in his name. With the help of this scholarship and the inspiration of his story, I will work hard to reach my goal of working in the medical field or becoming a bioengineer.
