I was always told that I would never be able to do much in my life because of my financial and disability status. Throughout my life I have worked hard to go above and beyond what people have thought of me. This award proves to others and myself that those years hard at work have not been for nothing. This may only be one step towards my future but it one step closer. I want to thank everyone who contributed to giving me money to help with my tuition as well as my mom who pushes me into the right direction.
