The Joseph James Morelli Legacy Foundation has announced scholarships awarded to seven outstanding graduates—three from the Class of 2024 (James Sykes IV, Boden Parkinson, and Jagger Nuce) and four earlier alumni: Jesus Suarez (2023), Brenda Villagomez (2021), Tatum Boxley (2022), and Sarah Savitz (2023). These students are among 79 recipients from 29 states chosen out of nearly 300 applicants nationwide.
Since its founding in 2014, the Foundation has awarded approximately $750,000 in scholarships, supporting 415 students across 41 states, including 25 Park City High School alumni. The Foundation, created in memory of Joseph Morelli (Park City High Class of 2012), remains committed to elevating students with dyslexia pursuing STEM degrees.
Looking ahead, the Foundation will host its annual Celebration Event on August 17 at 5 p.m. at The Shed at Promontory, featuring guest speaker David Flink. The event is free and open to the public
